Griot Museum of Black History uses life-size wax figures, other art and artifacts to interpret the stories of African Americans with a regional connection who have contributed to America.

Quindaro Museum preserves the historical and cultural awareness, and overall importance of the African American Community of Quindaro to the history of Kansas and the USA.

The Ralph Foster Museum, on the campus of the College of the Ozarks, primary focus is to collect, preserve, interpret and exhibit items relating to the Ozarks region. One of the more famous exhibits is the television series “The Beverly Hillbillies.

Strawberry Hill Museum & Center is dedicated to Kansas City history & its past residents is housed in a historic Victorian. It celebrates the many nationalities of Kansas City residents thru exhibits and activities.

Vaughn Cultural Center promotes an appreciation and awareness for the culture and history of African Americans through art exhibits, literature, music, storytelling, and programs.
