The African American Museum of the Arts is devoted primarily to African American cultures and art with revolving gallery and a permanent collection of artifacts, sculptures and masks from countries of Africa.

The Elliott Museum has a significant collection of classic cars, trucks, bicycles, and boats; baseball memorabilia; local history; Americana; a variety of art; and more.

The Florida Holocaust Museum honors the memory of millions who suffered or died in the Holocaust with emphasis on teaching tolerance.

The Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida collects and preserves material culture pertaining to local and regional history. The Museum houses an extensive collection of artifacts, textiles, and documents.

The Indian Temple Mound Museum houses interpretative exhibits depicting 12,000 years of Native American occupation including over 1,000 artifacts of stone, bone and clay, as well as a  collections of prehistoric ceramics.

At the John Gilmore Riley Center & Museum for African American History & Culture,  journey back in time to the Reconstruction era and experience a living testament of the rich cultural heritage of the historic Smokey Hollow community.

The Marco Island Historical Museum explores Southwest Florida’s Calusa Indians. The Museum brings this vanished civilization to life with informative displays and an exciting recreated village scene.
